    How hard to tell?
I know this might be a dumb question but how hard is it to tell the difference between a lesser and a pastel lesser? All the pics I've seen of pastel lessers dont look to much different to me then a regular lesser. Is there something that makes them stand out? I would love to see some pics of peoples to help me out on this one.

I like it :), I wish they would have more pics of morphs as they get older, the changes from hatchling to juvi can be alot

I believe pastel lessers tend to have faded heads, and that one does not appear to have any significant amount of head fading, so I'd guess it is not.

Also, I'd expect a pastel lesser to show more yellow tones, and at least on my monitor, that snake doesn't have a lot of yellow coloration. However, that is something that can change with age and also just the lighting in a picture, so I wouldn't count it as reliable as the faded head.

That pic does not look like a pastel lesser. Pastel lessers have a lot more yellow in them and almost glowing blushing up the side. The lesser in that pic has more of a grey look to it.

Honestly, Id walk away. Even if he takes outdoor pics and it looks like it [I]might[I] have pastel in it, youre probably better off holding out for a better example of the morph.
