How long can a female BP save up there seed?
I just read about a BP: last year bread with a pinstripe, this year a calico. Had 6 eggs, outcome: 3 pins, 3 normal.
Can they save up seed for a whole year? And also how come the seed doesn't die, cause with humans (weird comparisson but...) it dies in 48 hours?!?
Weird question, i know but i'm intrigued :)
