New boa! : D

I just got back from the Hamburg reptile show where I just picked up this Hypo/Hog Island male from Paul Mitchell (www.pmherps.com). This pic is from his website and the only one I have for now. My camera decided to stop working last night, so I didn't get any pics at the show. My buddy is bringing his over later, so I'll get some good pics up tonight...

Thanks guys. Paul has some SMOKIN' hot snakes. Every one of them is absolutely gorgeous in person. I picked this guy for a couple of reasons. I really liked the long stripe at the top of his tail, and my stepdaughter loves the butterfly shaped saddles... And here's a quick cell phone pic my wife snapped this afternoon before we put him away to settle in...

I just got a new camera tonight so I decided to snap a few pics. This guy looks like he wants to eat me every time I open the tub, but he hasn't struck at me yet. Once you have him out, he squirms like crazy for a minute or two, then will calm right down...

These guys seem to change colors even throughout the day. Sometimes he can be a really deep orange, almost red, and other times more beige. Can't wait to see how he looks as he grows out...

It's normal for Boas to change their color phase from light to dark. Some Boas just do it more frequently and dramatically than others. Your little guy looks awesome in the dark phase. Great color...:gj:
