Baby Brown Snake...<3 *pix*
Well, I was originally going to open a thread to help identify this little guy, but I'm now pretty satisfied it's a brown snake. Now, pictures!

Isn't he an absolute cutie? His little tongue was going a mile a minute, and he was extremely inquisitive. Poor little guy had a stuck shed, but it just rained, so I'm sure it'll work its way off soon.
I let him go near where I found him after the little photoshoot...<3

That would be the Eastern Brown Snake. :)
"Brown Snake" is a name commonly given to several different species, one being of the colubrid family in North America and sometimes Mexico.
As far as I understand..
I may be corrected if I am wrong.
EDIT: Also, I am not good at identifying native snakes in North America, so I'm not agreeing that what the OP found is actually a Brown Snake of the genus Storeria.. I'll leave the identifying to others. ;)

Thank you, Garweft! Yeeeah, I figured it was probably an adult after reading up on them a little...it's just so hard to not view them as babies!! hehehe. Such cuties.
And thanks everyone! I would love to keep one someday, lol. Right now I'm actually headed to Topeka, KS to catch some Italian Wall Lizards. I'm so excited!!
