Stuck hemipene, I think.

OK, Ya'll, gave my big male beardie a bath today and as usual he pooped in the water. I took him out immediately and found what I am assuming to be a hemipene protruding from his vent. I dried him off and returned him to his tank. A few hours later I checked on him and it is still protruding and seems to be drying up. Here are some pics, please advise.

Poor guy :( I think you should take him to a vet, that would be the best thing. I'm sorry that I don't have anything helpful to say. :(

Good news, I took him to the vet and turns out it was just a sperm plug. The vet soked him in luke warm water for a few minutes and it come right out. He did inform me in case of a prolapsed hemipene, you sould soak him in cool sugar water bath. The cool water and sugar will help to soften the hemipene then you message the base of the tail to help it retract.

This exact same thing happened to one of my male Leopard Geckos, the vet called it a Smegma plug. You'll want to keep an eye on that side of your beardie, after the plug was removed from my leo he ended up having a prolapsed hemi-pene and it ended up being amputated (not by the vet...he did it himself = _ =).
