    Bp digging ?
Hey everybody :d well i just finished cleaning my baby spiders tank and i also rearranged some stuff in the tank, but since i put her back shes been digging into her substrate and im getting worried because i never seen her act this way, i checked her temps and her hot side is at 91 and the cool side is on 80, also her humidity is perfect at 60. She just ate also with no problems so any ideas.

Also i have had her for 3 weeks and i havent seen her shed do you think it might be that :o

    Don't be worried about that
One of my females actually stopped eating when i changed from reptibark to newspapers! when i put her back on reptibark she started digging again and eating!!! I think they dig to find mouse homes or something like that...

Nah, nothing to worry about. My bp does it all the time. The only thing you need to watch out for is how hot the bare glass gets, where the UTH is. Some people raise the UTH to 95 or a 100 to get the substrate hot, but they don't think about when the bp digs through it, and touches that bare glass.

Other than that, you got nothing to worry about. He may be in shed, he may not. It's normal behavior.
