    I actually think I may go a little more I found someone near me with a gorgeous lesser 100% het pied male for $400.

    If that snake is truly het pied then that's a great deal! Otherwise, you also might consider a Fire or a Vanilla. Those are both fairly inexpensive and HOT when combined with anything.

    Lesser het pied sounds to good to be true. Did he produce it or does he have paperwork from the breeder?
