at my attempt to completely master and control the humidity in my tank, i decided to get a even longer piece of plexi glass to cover my tank, but is this tooooo long? is enough air getting in?

it is exactly 1.5 inches of open space. Is that letting enough air in? should i drill some holes on it, or am i good to go?

I don't think it's too much of a problem, you should be fine with it. If you want to give yourself some peace of mind then you can make a couple holes in it, but I don't think it's necessary.

I think you should be good to go. I have less open air space than that on my tubs. I have about 6 holes on each end of the tub to control my humidity. I stay at 60% with the waterbowl on the cool side. When they go into shed I put the waterbowl on the hot side and it gets 80+%ish. I haven't had a bad shed yet.

I would slide the plexiglass so that you have about the same amout of open space on each end, which will provide a little ventilation.

I have a tank completely covered but drilled multiple holes on each end.It works great, but I only need it in the winter. It gets plenty humid in the summer.
