I thought I'd share my largest clutch of the season (and my largest clutch to date). This girl laid a nice 12 egg clutch last year for me:

Well this year she outdid herself again by dropping 15 eggs with 0 slugs. Her pre-lay weight was 3800 grams, with the eggs weighing 1700 grams. She was bred twice to a firefly male, and the killerbee male locked up with her 3 days prior to ovulation. I have heard that locks that late never take, but it will be interesting to see if any bees pop out of the clutch!
