Light pink on belly - possible burn?
    Hello,

I've had my bp since April 12th. His belly has a slight pinkish color to it and I'm not sure if it's anything to worry about. I'm doubting it's a burn because I monitor the temps very closely. The glass over the UTH on the inside of his tank never goes over 92 and the top of the substrate stays 88-90. Checking glass with digital thermometer and surface with IR gun. He's not do for a shed for a few more weeks which is why I'm no considering that.

Here's some pics I got while my daughter was holding him. Not sure how well the pink will show up it's very light.

Could his shed be early? My BP sometimes 'blushes' when he's excited like when its chow time or when I hold him. Is it a constant pink? Is it getting darker? Is it the whole belly or just a single area? Could there be an irritant on his skin- like a cleaner or something with his substrate.

Everyone says to double check the husbandry but it sounds like thats not an issue. I'm not sure what it could be- I'm just throwing out Ideas. One of the admin may have a better idea.
    Hope all goes well!

My piebald does that right before she sheds. It's just a faint pink, not much that you can see. If he sheds in a few days since your temps check out OK I wouldn't worry about it.

I can't really see much in that picture, but rosy bellies can be a sign of shedding. Just keep an eye on it.
