how many?

how many genes can you get into one snake? i just seen a calico killer bee and was blown away by the amazeingness of it all hahaha. but the most iv ever see was a 4 gene snake. so im just curious is there a 5 gene snake that i dont know about

I'm sure there is. And a 6 gene and so on. There are breeders who have confidential breeding projects that they do not make public. I know NERD and RDR have multiple gene snakes. At least 5 gene.

also whats the diffrence between a woma and a woma:hidden gene ?

yeah. i think NERD doesnt tell half of what the produce. lol atleast thats what it seems like

Woma and Hidden gene womas are visually the same. A hidden gene woma is a line of woma from NERD that when combined with other morphs makes crazy combos. Regular womas will not do the same thing. Google "soul sucker" ball python for an example of what the hidden gene does.

Breeding. Most of these breeders hold back a male that they are unsure of which genes are in it and breed the following season. Thry will breed it to a normal female that produces a lot of eggs. Then when the babies hatch, they usually know. That's why most of the awesome 3 and 4 gene morphs you see for sale are a year old if it was difficult to tell what they were when they hatched.

As for hidden gene Womas, lessers, and Platty siblings, only the breeder who produced them knows what they are through breeding. They then sell them as what they are.

A way to avoid this is by not breeding multiple genes together that produce similar affects. Like a super pastel/lesser/fire/mojo would be very difficult to tell. How would you know for sure all those genes were in there without breeding?

A cinnamon/super pastel/spider/pinstripe would be a lot more obvious due to the different color/pattern mutations.
