Should I try something different?
I feel like my pastel yb is determined to drive me insane... It took me 3 feedings to get her to eat for me after I first got her, then she ate really well for a little while, maybe 4-5 feedings, and now she's back to not eating... I'm not sure what I did to turn her off food again, but it's starting to drive me nuts. I feed f/t so I do the zombie rat dance for most of my snakes and everyone but her eats. She acts super interested, even going so far as to follow it around when I move it, but she NEVER strikes. Should I try offering her live, or even a mouse? The breeder I got her from said she was eating f/t rat pups so I'm afraid to put her on mice... She hasn't lost weight so I'm not concerned about her health, but I would really like her to start eating again.
Re: Should I try something different?
You can try offering live if that is the route you want to go. I have a male normal that used to eat f/t but then just stopped eating all together. I had to put him back on live to get him to eat again. He absolutely will not eat f/t anymore. I even tried the tough love approach, but he went 43 days without eating for me, and then I broke down and put him back on live. He has been eating very well ever since.

I feel your pain! My blue eyes lucy does the exact same thing! He will only eat live, always has, and lately he will skip a meal or two following it all around the enclosure but won't strike at it. It is very, very frustrating considering that my other 4 will eat F/T just laid in front of them.... :rolleye2:

I've tried that. I put it in the hide she's currently using and when I wake up in the morning and she's moved the hide so the rat pup isn't in it with her.
