ri worries

alright its been 43 days exactly since my bps last shot for respiratory infection. she doesnt open mouth breath anymore nor does her mouth slightly hang open. one of her nostrils cleared up and the other nostril halfway cleared up leaving a dry mucus substance.she was in her shedding process the week i was administering baytril and the vet said if the nostril doesnt clear up after her next shed come back.her last shed was 45days ago.now her belly is pink and shes nearing her ''next'' shed.her lil weeze has came back but no open mouth or the other symptoms.is this weeze potentially a product of her shedding cycle or did her ri come back.?

He might just have a piece of shed stuck, i once took my bp to the vet cause he was weezing but he just had a piece of shed.:)

yeah im hoping its just the shed and that dry mucus falls out. her vet is miles and miles and miles away.like 150 to and from.super stressful for us both.drivers in az suck:mad:

They do whistle and weeze occasionally with no problems the question is was it only once or many times? One or twice here and there isn't a problem generally.

This. If it was just a couple whistles/weezes it isn't necessarily a problem. They will occasionally whistle or weeze from stress too (my male did that when he was young during his first couple handlings), or as was stated before something obstructing the nostrils (either stuck shed or just that bit of mucus whistling while she breathes). If they're doing it often though, then it's a problem.

it was a couple of times here and there while handling her.i held her for about 15minutes examining her and decided to put her back cause shes pink bellied and likes to be left alone during the shed. im hoping its just the shed and dried mucus combination in that one nostril making that noise and i hope that booger and squeek weeze noise goes away with it too.

Mine had a whistle just before shedding, it stopped after he shed. It could definitely be stuck shed, I wouldn't worry unless it gets worse or doesn't go away after the shed...

she did seem kinda stressed,super tongue flickery and more active than usual.i havent handled before lastnight since saturday.i gave her sometime to digest her meal.

sheesh ok Marley finally actually shed after upping her prey size for a couple of weeks and the dried up mucus thing fell out.she shed all in one piece leaving a snake skin soccerball of poop behind.nothing like new skin.:snake:
