I have a female that is an '07 1380g, she laid 4 good eggs 2 weeks ago, her female sibling is at 1200g with follicles.
These females have always been slow growers, but are sexually mature enough to mate.
It is advised to get your females to a good weight of at least 1600g before breeding.

Males can mate as soon as they are producing sperm plugs, I've heard of some mating at 450-500g.

Same boat here. I bred a 4 year old 1300 gram pos het snow female this year. I knew she old enough but I normally don't breed untill 1500 grams. She quit eating when I started breeding this year and after about a month I said what the hell and threw a male in with her. They were locked up wiithin 30 mins. She layed 5 fertile eggs weighing 458 grams. She was the last female that I paired up and she was the first to lay. The best part about it is she in now eating better than she ever has and is just about back up to prelay weight. Hopefully she will continue to eat like this.

I have an '07 female that I bred at 1300g. She's currently in blue for her pre-lay shed. :D Smallest male I ever bred was 450.

I had a pair of '09 females go this season. Both were around 1,500g at breeding. The Spider Het Pied gave me 5 eggs and her sister Het Pied gave me 6.

I've had a 900 gram girl give me 5 eggs but she was 5 years old before I bred her. I normally wait until 1500 grams but she wasn't growing much after 5 years so I threw a male in with her. She's given me 5 eggs every year since then and still hasn't broke 1500 grams. I've bred a male at 325 grams and got multiple good clutches. Also had an Enchi female that was 250 grams in March of "10....shes right around 1700-1800 grams right now and gravid.

Years ago, I bought a WC female for $20.00 out of a big burlap bag at a reptile show. I didn't have a scale, but at most I estimate she was about 1200-1300 gms. She laid 4 good eggs and a slug within a month.

I like my females to weigh at least 1,500g. The bigger the better. Males 500g and up, but if a slightly smaller male was willing, what the heck, go for it little buddy! :gj:
