    The Jacksonville Zoo, in Jacksonville Florida has had a very large African Rock Python for several years.
    It's 12' easy, but looks to be heck of a lot larger. It was huge when I saw it in 2001, and they still had it when I was there in 2008.

    I saw a wild one a few months back! They're reasonably common in Durban, because of the very large sugar can plantations. I saw one when I went to visit my uncle, he stays outside of the city, and it's pretty wild, a nesting site for 4 million Barn Swallows, you get a lot of Bush Buck there too, which may just be why you get Rock Pythons there! The one I saw was crossing the dirt road, it was pretty big, I'd say 12 to 14 feet long! Nice and thick too!!

    yeah jax zoo has one thats a monster. i was there a few months back. (i live here) lol
