Funky male ball python eating

I like this guy. He's right in the middle of courtship, but as soon as he smelled a rat he left her and was at the cage entrance. I still don't know what to think of him. I am leaning toward a funky looking normal until I see evidence (i.e., babies) that hint otherwise. He is cool though.

I think what we have here is a miracle. A male who prefers food over sex. :)
