could this be a lock-up??

will she lock up if shes going in shed ,,shes blued over right now

I have had my girls lock up before shed. It just looks like their tails are crossed a little too far "back" up to be a def lock. The vents are a little lower then where they are criss-crossed. Keep trying tho! And be sure to give that male a day or two off even if you haven't seen any locks. A quick meal will get his energy up to peak performance.

If you have any other males, something that has worked well for me is to put the two males together by themselves for ten or fifteen min's and then put your pastel in with her. You would be amazed how fast he will get it done. Good luck!

they both refused to eat this week when i try to feed them ,,he had been out for half the day that day when feeding

does it matter on the other size of the male when putting the 2 males together

I'm sure it def helps if the other male is producing sperm plugs, and ready to breed himself. Don't know if it would work with a juvi male.. never tried it.

It probably wouldn't work with a make that isn't mature. Another good trick is to put The fresh shed of another sexually mature male In Thr tub with the couple.
