New!! Very excited!! M. robustum, M. mesomelas, P. miranda...
I was VERY excited to get this order!!!! I have been dying to pick up a Megaphobema robustum and I finally got one after forever!!!!! I also picked up a Megaphobema mesomelas (another one I really wanted), Poecilotheria miranda (one of my fav pokeys, next to the P. metallica and P. subfusca Higland - should be picking one of these up for fathers day), Grammostola pulchra unsexed but ventrally it looks like a girly :D, and a tiny Avicularia versicolor to complete my order :salute:

Thanks!! The Megaphobema robustum is a beautiful T and VERY hard to get which is why it took me so long to get one - lol. The Poecilotheria miranda looks even better as an adult but you just got to be careful with them as they are super fast and have a really potent venom :D

Thanks Derek!!! If you check out the defensive videos on the Megaphobema robustum you won't be sorry!! They have really cool and unique defense tactics!!! They kick hairs, they will spread their legs and bob up and down and they will spin around in a circle to try and impale you with the hairs on their back legs (called the cart wheel of death by some). The hairs on the back legs of the M. robustum have been said to draw blood. Should be a fun one to work with :D
The G. pulchra for the most part are super sweet and laid back. I have had at least a dozen over time and I think only one was overly defensive. Kind of like ball pythons. The majority are nice but each are individuals so now an again you will run across a defensive one. They are jet black once they start getting bigger. The off black/brownish color tells me she is smaller (if I were looking at pics) and she should be coming up for a molt here soon.
Here is an older/bigger one:

Congrats on the new additions! M. robustum are I think my favorite to look at as slings, they're so striking even at that young of an age! So far though a G. Pulchra and A. Versicolor are on my list next :P

Haha this is so true! At first I got my sling and thought it would be my only tarantula. WRONG. I enjoy them so much, and I wound up getting another not much more than a week later :P If you do it, you won't regret it!

Congrats on the new T's! The Poecilotheria miranda freaks me out a little bit. And the versicolor is going to be really cool looking when it gets bigger.

Awesome looking creatures dude! I am deathly afraid of these spiders but they are still cool looking!
