My home made fridge incubator

THIS IS MY FRIDGE INCUBATOR I MADE FROM SCRATCH.IT WAS FUN TO MAKE AND I HAVE EVERYTHING SET PERFECT SUCH AS TEMPS,SHELVES AND FANS.
IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS FEEL FREE TO ASK.

(1) STARTED WITH A OLD FRIDGE I PICKED UP FROM A APLIENCE SHOP THAT WAS JUNK TO THEM.
(2) TOOK IT HOME AND CLEANED THE CRAP OUT OF IT.
(3)TOOK APART THE LEFT OVER COOLING STUFF.
(4)CLEANED IT SOME MORE.LOL
(5) YANKED THE MIDDLE SECTION THE DIVIDES THE FREEZER FROM THE LOWER PART.
(6) INSTALED A BIG COMPUTER FAN AS MY MAIN AND 2 SMALLER FANS AS MY STABLIZERS TO BRING HEAT FROM TOP TO BOTTOM.
(7) 11" HEAT TAPE/FLEX WATT ON EACH SIDE AND BOTTOM.
(8)HOOKED UP A VIVERIUM 300
(9) ADDED A TEMP AND HYDROMERTER UNIT FOR THE BOTTOM TO MAKE SURE ALL TEMPS ARE BETWEEN 88-89 DEGREES ALL THE WAY AROUND INSIDE.
(10)ADDED WATER BOTTLES/ GALLON JUGS AND LET SIT FOR 1HR.
(11) CHECKED ALL TEMPS AND MECHANICALS TO SEE IF ALL IS WORKING 100% AND EVERYTHING IS PERFECT.
(12) NOW I WAIT FOR EGGS.

very nice, but you will need more fans pointing down. Mines set same way with heat and i need 4 fans to blow heat down to keep it stable.

if you look carefully i have a vent that was part of the old setup of the fridge that blows air to the lower section of it and the fans help blow it lower. I have the other temp sensor all the way on the bottom to make sure its stable and it reade 88.8 all the time.the main fan sucks in the hot air and blows it from the top and bottom.i checked temps all over it and its perfect.

its awsome so far.im thinking of buying another one for my snakes heat pads. I have them hooked up to a dimmer.so most likely ill get one for them.it keeps perfect temp

I HAD MY INCUBATOR RUNNING FOR ABOUT A WEEK NOW.EVERYTHING IS WORKING 100%.AIR MOVES ALL AROUND SO HEAT IS ON THE BOTTOM SO MY AIR TEMPS STAY 89 DEGREES AT ALL TIMES AND THE BOTTOM IS 88.5-89.THE WEIRD THING IS I LIVE IN FLORIDA AND ITS HOT AS HELL IN THE 90'S BUT WHEN I OPEN THE DOOR I DONT FEEL THE 89 DEGREES IT SEEMS SO MUCH COOLER TO ME.NOW IS IT JUST ME BECAUSE IM COMPAREING IT TO THE FLORIDA WEATHER/SUN OR IS MY INCUBATOR JUST WRONG?:confused:
