    I just got a new Ball python, the breeder said she ate one week prior to me buying her. It has been three weeks now, and I tried to feed her yesterday. NO GO!! is this a problem??

    They can go months without eating with no ill effect. When they are moved to a new home they are stressed and with not eat for sometimes a few weeks. You need to cover the sides and top of the enclosure with black paper. You will need two hides(one on the cool side, one on warm side)that are tight fitting with only one small opening. You also need to leave the snake alone completely for a week, try feeding if it doesn't eat then leave it alone for another then try feeding. Keep repeating until it eats a couple meals. No holding or bugging the snake at all! It needs to settle in! This will reduce the stress!
