    Another picky BP thread
Ok, well I got my BP about a month and a half ago. He was a great eater at first, then I don't know what happened. He's been what appears to be stressed out. Husbandry is fine. But when I put a f/t in, he just stares at it intently from a short distance, but never goes for it.

I heated it up in warm water, then i tried again and heated it up while in the bag, in hot water, then I used a blow drier, and he still didn't go for it. I used prongs to stimulate life and he just stares at it, and if he gets to close he backs away, and freaks out. It's been 2 weeks since he's eaten, and I know thats not even close to anywhere a cause for alarm, but I'd still like to get him eating again.

How do I know if stress or husbandry is an issue. He spends much more of his time hiding now then he did before. Ideas?

I'm gonna try feeding it live next week. What do I do with the mouse if he doesn't eat it?

I don't really wanna kill it myself...

Umm...you're kidding right? Of course you'd have to feed and water it until next feeding.

Well, what size is this snake? If it's an adult, there's really nothing to worry about yet. Mone like to go 6-9 months without eating. Drives me nuts.

If they are a baby though you'll need to keep watch but a couple weeks isn't as issue.

    He's a juvenile. He's about 2 feet long, 272 grams.
