Just checking that I'm doing it right..
    Hey guys,

My six month male BP shrike is growing like a weed :). I've been feeding him a small rat every five days since he hit 500 grams, and now that he's hit the 700 gram mark, I've spread the feeding out to 7 days. He hasn't refused a single meal. The rats weight about 70 grams, figured they would be perfect for him til the 1k mark.

So how does this sound? 700grams at six months sound healthy?

Sounds like he is doing ok. The only thing I would suggest is even after he hits the 1K mark to continue to feed rats about the same size as you are now. Rats that are 70-90 grams are a good size for sub-adult and adult BP's.
