    What happen to my girl?
I had this lesser female 2 month ago. She was sold to me as 1100 gram. I knew I need to keep her alone for 6 month before I can introduce any male to her. I thought I will have lots of time to get her up to 1500 grams+ in 6 month.

She was all by herself. She shed 2 weeks ago. And today, I found her lay like this

What happen to her? Ready to leg eggs?? or Sick?? I have never seen any of my bp lay like this before.

    so should I breed her?

This is a pain. It is almost the end of breeding season now. If I breed her right now, does it mean she will always breed this time of the year? every year? Can she breed early next year?

    Thanks again

Id wait till next year anyhow.... bigger female might mean bigger clutch. Plus you never know.
Maybe if you breed her now she wont be ready in time or at all next season

    sent via pure awesomeness!

so if I don't breed her now. She could build follicles early next year and breed her in the normal breeding season from Dec to March?

    Thanks

She may go later in the season next year or may go on time! Every female is different! Some go early, some go late! I would wait until next year for a bigger clutch. Some females that are bred small will produce smaller clutchs all their lives!

My mojave male likes to lay on his side from time to time, too. lol Sometimes I think these guys just like to lounge about sometimes, especially if they've been eating heavily.
