    ok this is my first yr breeding and wanted to know if i should remove the hide out of the tank when i have the male with the female

    I remove mine. It isn't big enough for the both of them, and usually when they are done the female goes into the hide and stuffs her midsection through the hole so the male has to find his own spot. Lol.

    If I take it out, he cuddles with her. It's cute.

    I haven't bred them for a while, but I always took it out because putting two snakes into a one snake sized cage made for crowded quarters to begin with.

    thanks i now have the hide out of cage, female has been hiding in there since i put him in with her,, they r in a 40gallon breeder tank so they r not crowded in cage or tub
