New momma bath

So last eek my female laid her clutch of eggs
And its been too cold in my area to bathe her till now...
She hasn't eaten since dropping the eggs.
Since im FINALLY washing her off
any chance she will eat tonight or tomorrow?
She lost about 600 grams
and the other day I tried for the heck of it
To feed her and she was very interested but didn't take it
Any thoughts?

Bath's aren't "necessary" just a warm wet cloth to wipe them off ;)

Did you switch tubs or clean/sterilize her home?
Some will eat the day they drop, others take their time, they are all so individual you'll just have to keep trying to get her to eat.
I offer weanling rats to my females after they drop their eggs, they usually will eat 2-3 days after dropping in my experience.

I cleaned her enclosure with disinfectant(and rinsed VERY thoroughly
and gave her a ten minute bath and wiped her dry
Im hoping to get her onto rats since its been months since she ate and a year since she took a rat
Maybe dropping eggs and starvation will get her onto rats...

Should I feed live...f/t... or prekilled?

From my (limited) experience, feed her whatever you want her to be on. Both of my females were on live rats prior to breeding, and would not even consider F/T. One week after laying, they both took F/T rats, and have been on them ever since.

Mine layed on the 10th and I cleaned her enclosure etc the same day. I offered her a rat on the 12th and she refused. This past Tuesday I offered a weaned rat (rather than a small rat) and she took it right away. I'm going to offer her a small rat next feeding to see if she'll take it. I've heard of other's offering smaller than normal meals to get their females to eat after a clutch as well.

This was my plan originally as well.
Problem with my ladle is... well she is a smart one.
I put a small rat pup in a keeper
with a bunch of mice
I then offered the rat
She immediately sprung to taste and just as fast as she snapped she released.
She knew it wasn't a mouse and refused the small rat.
Not 2 seconds later I offered a lg mouse and it didn't even hit the
ground of her enclosure before she was coiled around it.

Ahh, I haven't had a mouser. I'd just keep offering the rat, I'd think she'd take it sooner or later. Good luck with her!

Ya that's what im thinking I should do...
Before breeding she would regularly eat 6 lg mice...
Trust me its not alot for her.
She's very long
About 4ft 3 inched
But when I got her last year she was at 3.5 ft and very underfed
