    Hog feed with OTC
So I have been using natures match pig and sow grower mostly for the last year-sometimes I get TSC brand..either way always non medicated. Last couple bags at feed store I dont think I checked the labels. Yesterday I bought a new bag and clipped the label as I am thinking of changing to Sow chow ovals cause they more like the shape of lab blocks as opposed to little pellets. So i look at label and it has oxytetracyclene 50g/ton..im like wtf its never been that before. Call up feedstore and he claims thats all they have ever carried but I know I dont buy medicated feed. So I have no clue if the last couple bags had otc in them or not. I work in the veterinary field so am well versed in meds etc and know about otc. Question is has anyone else ever fed this-by mistake or on purpose and any thoughts as to if would affect what the rats are fed too? Its in s uch alow quantity in bag the rats areent even getting a normal dose for the most part. Anyways I'm pretty pissed they just change the food without saying anything.....ergghhh.
