Feeding?!?

Ok I am a little new at raising Pythons. I have had very different views from breeders in my area and friends who have pythons themselves.
I am curious to know views of others on here who have way more experience than me at this....

Is it better to feed your pythons in their cages or take them and place them in another tote to eat?

Friends of mine place their snakes in a tote (the same one every time) for feeding. They stated this would teach the snake that anytime you are in their cage cleaning or such they will not relate you to food??

Then I have had others tell me this will stress the snake and they may not eat? :confused:

I personally feed mine in the same tubs they live in and have never seen a change in aggression.

I have one (my first one I ever got) that does eat in a separate enclosure. All my others are in a rack and they eat just fine there without any noticeable signs of aggression. However, people who say they don't know the difference when you move them, is not true. My bp knows as soon as his tummy hits the bottom of his feeding enclosure that it's "food time". He watches me in the kitchen preparing, and literally is "S"ed up the whole time just waiting for me to drop something in. None of my bps are aggressive, and depending on the bp itself it can be more stressful to remove it from it's enclosure each time to feed. I have two that I know wouldn't eat if I moved them at all.

I feed all of mine in the enclosures that they live in, and the only time they get aggressive is when I start pre-scenting the room. Then they know what time it is.

Feed them in their own tank. It is better for the sanke and easier for you. BP's aren't very aggresssive snakes at all so feeding them in the tank often won't change that much. If you deal with snakes that have a stronger feeding responce or are generally more aggressive then it could change them some but really all you need to do is apply the hook technique to stop that.

Mine all eat in their own tub. BP's can be finicky as it is. I can't imagine trying to get a few of my shy ones to eat in a different tub. It's hard enough with a few of them as it is! I don't think this is always the best with some snakes that have high food drive.
