my bp is not eating and i really think its the tank i have him in its a 10 gallon and 2 hides and a water dish and a UTH and an infa red heating lamp, my tamps are good humidity isnt perfect 44% and yet he doesnt want to eat, he does rome at night cuz i find the thermometer nocked over almost every morning, im thinking bout getting a tub like a storage tub alot ppl on here say there better what size would i need for a baby ball and would a UTH work with it? also what is flex watt i know its a source for heat but ive never seen it and only heard of it on here

12 or 14 qt tub you dont want to much hight in it you will also need a heat gun to vent the sides of the tub you can get flexwatt and everything from andy @ pro exotics

My young BP's are in 10 gallon tanks. They eat fine. I would however do away with the lamp. Just use belly heat. Bring his humidity up for sure. He may just be a picky eater. My female pastel will strike at adult mice but won't take them, but will with hoppers. I think she's intimidated by their size.

when Symy was small enough to live in a 10 gallon tank, I had the sides and the back covered (with tin foil), and the front side was covered on the lower portion. I also used a heat lamp and still do, and never had any feeding problems. This coverage makes it feel secure. Your humidity is alright, but make sure your snake can fully soak in it if it needs to. Tubs are cool, but not necessary.
