My second clutch ever, let's hope I get this one right.
So I lost the three fertile eggs from my import girl to poor incubation. You live and you learn.

We spent a great deal of time upgrading to a much nicer incubator, and hubby got it ready just in time!

    The clutch:

Six beautiful heavy eggs with amazing veins. Daddy could be either a Vanilla or a Mojave, or if I'm really fortunate, both! :D

And the new nest hubby made:

Keep an eye on temps on top. since your fan is on bottom and not top. Heat rises and would of wanted the fan blowing heat back down to even out for no hot spots.

Congrats Gale! Best of luck with these guys. Watch that humidity! All though I don't think you'll have a problem this time around. The set up looks great!

Rich, I thought the same thing, but surprisingly enough it's pretty steady throughout. The only real difference is down below the plexiglas at the very bottom. We checked. Also, that plexiglas shelf is actually not all the way from front to back, there is actually a 2" gap front and back, so it circulates really well.

I did the Accurite mod from here, and so far the temps inside and outside of the egg box stay within .5 degrees of each other, and the humidity in the box just says HI.
