What's the ratio in kg of water and vermiculite you are using? cos i see that the level of vermiculite seem to a bit too less.

If they are fairly new, the vermiculite may be a little to dry. Eggs will collapse some around two weeks before hatching.

89.9 give or take a degree might be a little bit high. Another degree takes them to almost 91 which is too hot imho. I'd keep them closer to 88.5-89.0 range.

Were they like that when they were laid? If not and if it's only been 5 days then they are probably a bit dry. Is your container 100% sealed? I have always used the no substate method so I can't help you too much with the vermiculite, but for now I would just make sure your tub is air tight and then maybe add a little water if they start looking any more deflated.

Are you saying that you set them up without adding any water to the vermiculite?
