    Feeding?
So heres a good question, i know that the basic food people feed there snakes is mice or rats. now what about something different? I just got my snake a couple days ago and feeding day is coming up i already got a mouse for him. but the whole time my pops was like goin on about how when he was my age they caught wil rattlesnakes and fed them feeder goldfish and how his pet snakes were fed baby chicks and wild caught lizards. i Just told him i was more comfterble feeding him a mouse but he said "well if you dont beleive me put it on that dang forum page and theyl tellya." So, lol i need to be told. what ive read is strictly mice and rats, and a occasional person who feeds day old chicks. So, is my dad right? and what are some food items that can be mixed around a bit and give my pal a healthy diet? thank you. :D P.S (DO NOT WORRY I WILL NOT FEED WILD CAUGHT LIZARDS I KNOW THE RISKS OF THAT) :P

The problem with that is that your snake might imprint on those other items. Rats and mice are readily available so that's what you should be feeding your snake. They aren't going to eat anything but small mammals.

I wouldnt think feeder fish would be a balanced alternative being that its not anything close to their natural diet in the wild
