If you had to choose 3 Ball Python morphs to start with...
Let's pretend that you are just starting out with ball pythons, and have a 3-tub snake rack. You can either be just keeping BP's for their own sake, or planning to breed in the future. Or both.

Which ones would you choose? Male/female? Normals, base morphs, wicked combos?

Wow... I would look for the best multi gene bp's that I could find and afford.... Probably 2 females and one male. Without a specific amount to spend it is hard to make suggestions.....

Hmmm... let's put the number at around $1000 (or less) to spend on all three, unless someone has another specific amount they want to use.

with that amount I would probably look at a female Lessor, and female pastel, and keep my eye open for a male pewter..... it may be a little over a 1000, but if you shop around you could probably find them for that price....

If it were me, I'd go with a male pastel, a female enchi, and a female fire. I'm a big fan of fireflys and almost anything with enchi in it.

i'll probably buy a double gene male and 2 single gene female.
Example; 1 bumblebee male, 1 pinstripe female and 1 cinnamon female.

But if you want to spent more than $1000, you could buy a triple gene male and 2 double gene females.
Example; 1 killerbee male, 1 lemonblast female and 1 pewter female.

All depends on what you want.

I would buy a male bumble bee, female pastel and female lesser, only because I don't like pins or cinnies. :P A males super pastel, a female pin and female spider would be another great starting point.

I want to breed, so my thoughts are always on what I want to do with my snakes. If you don't want to breed you could get all males and probaby get some cool looking morphs. It seems like most females sell for more.

    Everyone has good choices!

I know I am interested sometime in the future, but not for a while. Especially if I get younger animals. And if I can convince my roommates mother that snakes are cool.

I was thinking a male bumblebee and a female pastel and one other female (either a pin or a lesser or a majove or or or....). Lots of options.

If I went with all males... Bumblebee, hypo mojave and lesser enchi. Over $1000, but those are my favourites.

    Lesser Female
    Spider Female
    And Pinstripe Male

    Or

    Lesser Female
    Pastel Female
    And Pinstripe Male

Would be my choice if I was starting out and had a $1000 budget or less.
