Minnie, the Mean Snake

OK, she's het pied, and not all that much to look at. But this girl is my favorite, and to my eyes the prettiest one I own, even over the two morphs.

Maybe I shouldn't be calling her the mean snake anymore. She quit striking. But then again, she can give a good hiss and a superb stink-eye response to being picked up. This is Minnie hanging out at the edge of the garden. She loves that rock. Once she gets up on that thing she will not move.

Haha, stink-eye! What is it with het pieds? My male het pied thought it was FUN biting me, I swear.

I don't know what it is. I've only been around a couple of them, but both of them had an attitude.

Minnie mostly bit when she was being picked up, so what I did was got a cage hook and took her in and out of the cage at least a half dozen times a day for a week. She gave up on biting.

Now she only hisses and gives me the "if looks could kill you'd already be planted" glare. So I can go right in and pick her up with my hands and still have all of my skin when I'm finished.

She's a talented snake. She knows how to whistle, but only when she's in shed. :) I've heard several that whistle when they shed, but this girl is loud.

She is pretty, I love the pattern on the end of her tail! :gj:

Hee hee, have you ever heard the Cab Calloway song, Minnie the Moocher? Maybe now she is a moocher instead of being just mean ^^ She is LOVELY by the way, love her wierd ringer thing on her rump.
