Seriously, what did I do to myself
So getting out of bed this morning, all of a sudden I had an incredible pain in my neck and collapsed. I think I just turned it wrong and pulled a muscle perhaps, but I spent about 15 minutes unable to so much as roll over. I was finally able to fall off the bed in a controlled manner that let me get my upper body upright, but it was so difficult I don't think I'm going to go back down horizontal any time soon.
It's not like I was lifting a heavy box or anything, COME ON, seriously, getting out of bed and I injure my neck badly enough that I'm contemplating a doctor's trip?
Luckily it's not too painful to be upright, but I can't so much as use my neck muscles in any way or I get a terrible, shooting pain.
I just had to rant. GRRRR
Re: Seriously, what did I do to myself
Sounds like something got pinched. I did that once in my back. I was swimming at practice and then bam it hurt to do anything including breathing. Mine got better over a few days so hopefully yours does too.

Sounds like a pinched nerve to me. You could've slept in a certain position to long that pinched and or cut off circulation to it. If so it takes time but it'll work itself out,.. got any Tiger Balm or something around the house to take away some of the pain? Few people know or even realize just how many muscles one nerve can affect.
