    trade value?
I was offered a trade for my 06 graziani line pastel het for pied male for a 200 g cinnamon female...my question is...what is my pastel het for pied worth? in trade value or cash value...

Just my 2 cents....a pastel het pied male is worth $500ish, if it's a proven breeder even more. 200g cinny female is around $250ish. Now, these prices are greatly depending on the need of the animal. If the animal don't directly fit into your breeding plans then it's probably not worth as much to the individual.

I think your snake is worth more to me. I have a female pied though. I personally prefer adult snakes. If she were the same age/size as your male, I would say it was equal money-wise. but she's kinda dinky and he's a breeder size, even if unproven. Maybe if there was another nice morph or het female with some size thrown in to pair with your other males, it might be a pretty good trade. Personally, I would not trade him. Perhaps sell him and buy the cinny?

ready to breed pastel het pied male vs a hatchling cinny? Assuming its a nice looking pastel, your snake is worth at least 3 times more. obviously "worth" is in the eye of the beholder, but generally speaking, at least 3x. I mean your snake doesn't do a whole lot if u don't got pied or het pied females for him, but if your going to trade him for a cinny i would expect some cash also.

I would hold off IF YOU CAN BACK UP YOUR MALES GENETICS.

    Consider this...

If you were on the other side of the coin, and you didn't know if you could trust the Het part of the equation (which is the bulk of the value of this animal), he would be worth $200 or so. If he really is legit, he is worth around $600+.

    So... Would you do it?

Very true...he came with papers of 100% het for pied guaranteed for life. He is a great breeder but I don't have any pieds or hets to prove him out with...I didn't know he was worth so much. :O thanks for the input everyone.

Depends on what you need to breed. If a cinny fits and the pastel dont then id do the trade.

On other hand picture shows hes thin

Ya he's been off feed since February (when I bought him) and took two Med rats the last two weeks but I dunno how long he was off feed before I got him, he didn't come with feeding records...

As long as hes eating now hell bulk back up. But to be thin like that he was off food for a while.

But if hes eating thats good sign hell be back being fat and full
