so i got a male mojave a couple days ago to breed to my female and i have probed all of my snakes so i put the male in with a few of my other males for now and in the morning they were like this picture i have here and i thought that he was a male but they stayed like this for 8 hours then finnally stopped when i probed the one that i thought or sure was a male it went in 9 scales so i was wondering if it is possible for them if thy are both males to stay like this for that long??

Quarantine.com .... you picked up that male a couple days ago and you are already getting him locked up with your girls... I hope that boy came from a very reliable source, although no quarantine is still risky regardless. In the long run it is well worth it as many people will tell you...

    He's actually 100% serious.....
Quarantining new snakes is a huge step in owning a good number of snakes.
What if that new snake has a RI, or mites, or some internal parasites, etc, etc....
Also housing more than one snake together isn't a great thing to do.

ok well first of all that wasnt even my question i didnt intend on my snake to mate with my "male" and i know the person i got him from it was my mother in law and she has had the snake in with her other male for quite some time now and there is nothing wrong with the snake and second of all who are you guys to even judge me when you dont even know the situation i know that the snake needs to be Quentined. so my question was:
so i got a male mojave a couple days ago to breed to my female and i have probed all of my snakes so i put the male in with a few of my other males for now and in the morning they were like this picture i have here and i thought that he was a male but they stayed like this for 8 hours then finnally stopped when i probed the one that i thought or sure was a male it went in 9 scales so i was wondering if it is possible for them if thy are both males to stay like this for that long??
So does any one have a answer or what

Joking or not, your breeding snakes before properly letting them settle in. I dont care if the snakes came from god himself. No new arrivals breed right away as you dont know everything about it.

I dont need to judge you but from your posts your always right and know whats best and I or other experienced breeders know nothing. :gj:
