Frustrated with the Bean Farm

I've seen these folks get a lot of recommendations here on the board. I placed an order with them last month to complete my much needed rack for a couple balls i have coming....its FINALLY shipped and all in all will take over 3 weeks from order to delivery.

I inquired a couple times and each time was told the backordered items were to arrive "that day" or "Monday"

If I knew it would have taken this long I would have ordered elsewhere...

Not sure if all the folks that have recommended them have had this kind of experience...

I've had good experiences with the Bean Farm in the past. Though, recently I had a similar experience. I think they are good people, but maybe over worked and under staffed. In which case they should hire more staff, or take appropriate measures to improve their customer service. Call them and ask them nicely to make it right.

They had the oppty to make it right twice when I called to inquire if the backordered product had come when they said it was ...and I explained that it was really putting me in a bind as I had balls coming and needed to get it setup. I also emailed it once....for me that ship has sailed. I just wish they could have told me over 3 weeks when I first ordered.

Not bad people...but a first experience like this and I'm out...

That's why I get my racks from reptile basics. They ship within 10 days from ordering.

Not sure what kind of service they used but it's looking like it will take closer to a month. Beware of these guys or ask if they actually the product they claim is in stock - in stock...grr
