time from pre-ovy shed to ovulation?

I wrote down that Lois shed on 4/22/11, and she's glowing up a storm and fat like a football. The follicles are so huge I can barely palpate them, and she's a little tense... but she's still breeding, and she doesn't have that "solid" feel people talk about.

Anybody have an average time to ovulation from the pre-ovulation shed?

Look at that! I bought Lois and Floyd together, and they USED to be the same color. Now I open the tub and wonder when I bought a fire female...

Really? So she basically should have already done it? Or be just on the verge?

Some shed before ovy some don't and it is very variable if they do, the real timeline you need to know to preparefor eggs is between OVY and pre-lay which is 14 days.

Ovy to pre-lay about 14 days
Pre-lay to eggs about 30 days

I don't pay attention to a pre-ov shed at all. My females will eat very aggressively and then stop and have no interest at all, two or three weeks later they'll ovulate.
