    Will she lay?
Ok so sookie has been givin me the run around...
She built like a mad man
    I KNOW she ovulated
She shed 1 month ago today. And still looks very plump.
But doesn't look like a baby bump like a lot of pictures I've seen.
She was laying inverted a couple weeks ago
She's been huggin the hot spot a lot.
And is hard to the touch.
    Am I being impatient?
I know they don't like to stick to schedules
But I on the other hand.... am neurotic.
When I pick her up you can see where her body goes to way fatter the the rest
And she keeps the end of her tail always hooked.
And also from her booty hole back she is very massive.
Not tapered like a normal tail would look.
I don't palpate becuz I'm scared to injure the eggs if they are there.
In the morning I'm hopeing to see some bright whites
I don't even care if they are all duds just wanna know she is ok.

    What do you think? Patience?

    Yep, patience grasshopper.

We have one that laid this morning at day 32 from POS.

I've heard of a few going to day 50+ past POS. She'll lay, just wait. I HATE waiting for this breeding stuff, but you have to.

Enjoy the season, and good luck!

You won't injure anything by palpitating. Patience patience indeed. She may have ovulated later than you thought and what you thought was the pls was really the pos. I just had a female that I thought ovd weeks ago and now I know for a fact that she just barely ovd. Sometimes
They build so large that it looks impossible to get any bigger. But it's plausible.

Just wait all you can do I've had alot of people tell me patience is the key and it does pay off I've been watching/waiting on 3 of my girls and I check them 3 times a day and I had my first clutch lay this past fri and it wasn't the one I was expecting to lay first but when it's time you can see her body change and you will know! Just relax and wait and enjoy the hobby and good luck heres to a bunch of health beautiful eggs!:gj:

If she ovulated and had her pre-lay a month ago it should be a matter of days.

Pick her up holding her tail up and head down then rotate her so she is tail down and head up you will be able to see how far the first egg is from the vent area.

If you do not see any eggs than this you were wrong about the ovy

Snake ovulate than typically have a pre-lay shed 14 days after that and lay eggs 30 days after the pre-lay shed, however I have females laying 40 to 50 day POS
