new retic but what is it?
Re: new retic but what is it?
Looks maybe like a tiger? Not sure, I'm not an expert, it could just be an interesting looking normal too. It has a beautiful dorsal stripe though, whatever it is!!

very gorgeous! That's all I can tell you. Keep us updated on those yellows. :) I don't think we get enough giant pics around here. I love them, but not ballsy enough to own one....yet.

Lol. My issue is that nobody around here has one. I would like to get a feel for them before I decide if I want one. And, i rent. So, if I do get one it will be after I purchase a house of my own. Hopefully this fall!!!
I did get a burm though. So, I'm learning about the heavier species. Maybe by the time he's a big boy, I can get a retic.

OP- looks to be your normal run of mill retic. I dont see Tiger
And also for above quote, its always best to buy them as babies. Grow with them as jumping right into an adult can be very intimidating as you know nothing of its behavior. When raised from baby you know more about them and are not intimidated of them as much.

Oh, I agree. My burm is sitting at about 300 grams. We're taking this step by step. But, I would really like to find someone around with a retic. I've only seen 2 or 3, and nobody would let me handle them because they were mean.
Are you kidding me? I hate that term used for any living creature.
Or, there is always bp.net when I do decide to get one. It's just difficult to grasp the true size of an adult.
