Help! How to "re-home" a juvie X. Immanis?

So... my X. Immanis from the CRBE came in a container all ready to go minus the water. We were informed that it could stay in that container for a couple of molts, but I don't know what the substrate is (obviously there's coconut husk, but I think something else as well) and I don't know how old it is. I noticed a bit of white stuff, and I have a really bad feeling it's fungus or mold. :mad:

I already had a container about the same size set up beforehand, substrate being pure coco husk, so I'm thinking of just putting him/her in there and doing a good cleaning on the other one. But how do I get the little thing from point A to point B?? Obviously it's super skittish, and is only about an inch long, so...

I need help!

I can try to get a pic of the white stuff too, if that would help. Obviously I would rather leave it alone if it's harmless lol.

It's super easy to rehouse. Just have a seperate deli cup handy incase it decides not to coperate (also a thin piece of card board to slide under the deli cup if you need to cup it). You can use a straw or a paint brush (soft bristle part, smaller the better as they can climb it if the brush is too big). Just put the edge of the container it is in now next to the edge of the container you want it in and gently nudge the T on the butt where you want it to go. In the bath tub is the best place to do this. If it bolts some where you don't want it to go then thats where the extra empty deli cup comes into play. Just cup it and try again :D Just try to stay relaxed and don't freak :gj:

Thanks so much for the tip! It's a little late now (did it last night lol). I took an empty deli cup and put open side over the top of the one the spider was in, and eventually the baby just walked right up the side into the empty cup. Slipped a sheet of plastic in between the two, then put the new container in the place of the old one and waited for him to go back down (took LOTS of patience lol) but I managed eventually. :P

Thanks, and it'll still be helpful, I don't think he's going to fit in the container for much more than one molt, and he's already showing signs of pre-molt, so another move is imminent :P
