what do u think about my technique?

my bp dont eat for several week.so i put mice in a plastic container n make hole for mice to breath.then i put it in my bp tub for 1 night to make her smell it.did u think it work to make bp eat again or it will make bp stress??

You can try to prescent for a little while before you try to feed your snake. I would not leave the mouse in the container like that overnight though. You need to make sure that the mouse has had access to food and water before trying to feed it to your snake. You can just set the container with the mouse in it near your bp's enclosure to prescent. No need to put the container in the enclosure with your snake.

Prescenting is a common method for getting ball pythons to be ready to eat. I agree with the previous poster. No need to leave the container actually IN the snake's enclosure to accomplish this. And no need to do it overnight either. Usually about 30 minutes is all that is required. I can almost always tell whether or not my snakes will eat on feeding day with how they respond to just a few minutes of prescenting.

If you leave it in the enclosure overnight, it's likely the snake may get desensitized to the scent and will have given up on wanting to eat what it can't get at. Not to mention the potential stress of knowing some creature is in its home uninvited. ;)

As was already stated, don't put the container with the mouse in it into your snake's enclosure. This may very well stress out your snake causing it to not want to eat.

i will take it out after 1 hours.

Keeping the mouse in the container in the snakes enclosure for even an hour is stressful. The snake doesn't see the container. It "sees" the mouse In it. So it strikes and smacks it's face off of the container. That is stressful. I wouldn't continue to do that. Too Many stressful instances like that and the snake could very well associate that smell with stress. Not to mention desensitizing the snake from mouse smell. I'm sure she would have eaten whether you did that or not. But if you want to prescent. Do it outside the enclosure.
