    Show Me Your Set Ups!
I wanna get an idea how extreme some of you are getting and just to get an idea of how simple can be good for your wallet and the snake.

I use a plastic 5 shelf unit from Home Depot and tubs from Wal-Mart. The first photo is the way I set it up originally with one shelf removed. The second photo is the current set-up using the same shelves with a little modification to accomodate taller tubs...

I turned a normal shelve I already had into a snake rack. It's my only one right now.

I know ive posted this picture before, and it isnt a BP.. but it does show my setup entirely

Simple. Newspaper bedding, two hides, same size same exact look so the snake wont choose a favorite hide... nice sized water bowl and thermometer with a probe on the hot side of the tub. the thermometer itself reads the ground temps so it is on the cool side

I preffer to keep it simple. Easy to clean ect ect ect and Powder seems to like it :)

Posted this once before a while back, but figured I'd post it here.

Hooks, etc, and snakebite protocol. First things in the room.

Snakebite protocol. Number/address of closest hospital as well as Do's and Don'ts of envenomation treatment. I know, some parts of it seem a bit cheesy, haha. But more for the gf than anything. Safety first!

Enclosures for False Water Cobra's, Crotes, and my Burm. Found these shop racks at Home Depot. They perfectly fit a boaphile 4'x12" enclosure just inside the 4 corners and hold it in place with about an inch of space between the top and the shelf above it. The things at the bottom of the legs are those little things for moving furniture around. Protects the wood floors, and also makes it super easy to move the enclosures around if I need to.

False Water Cobra checking me out as I take pictures

A not so happy albino western diamondback. He really didn't appreciate me moving everything around tonight.

Burm, being the slow moving cattle of a snake he is.

Back of the room, small rack off to the left. Oil Heater and fan behind it, both of those are hooked up to a thermostat in the corner to keep the ambiant room temps ~70-75.

My small rack. Mostly baby crotes, baby bloods, and some hognose snakes. Mister, provent-a-mite, heavy dute welding gloves, and sexing probes on top.

Its a work in progress. Lately I've been trying out the "tropic aire" humidifier that you see to the left of the rheostat. Basically its a sponge mounted in a bottle nearly full of water. Air gets pumped into one side of the sponge and builds up pressure that sends humid air out a tube into the tank. It's not a fogger and won't act like one but with a large sized aquarium air pump it seems to keep constant 50 to 65% humidity in the tank. But that's only after doing the tinfoil treatment to the screen top. It has no effect on humidity with that screen top uncovered. Sorry for the bad spice job, I tried to get three pictures to seamlessly mesh together and only partially succeeded

I've lined the log hide with several pieces of cardboard which has brought the size down to where she will actually use it. You can't tell from this shot but its as small now as the cold-side hide to the right.

Next I plan on getting that cork bark tile for the left & right sides of the tank to help insulate it a bit better and make it look nice and get some fake vines to hide the humidifier tubing. Amazingly she hasn't ripped those suction cups off yet.

The enclosure is pretty good I have a vision as well. I don't have a this one is better of the two of them about the same. It holds humidity better than the vision, but suffers a touch from sagging just not as much as the vision does. It holds heat well too. The interior mounted light amps up the day temp a fair bit (3-4 degrees) in my case the room is cool so that is not unwelcome but in a different location it could become a problem. The lock is ok not great I'd get a display case lock from a locksmith doing it again. I don't like cleaning the stick on part. The hard corners make cleaning a touch harder than the vision. The complaint I have is it is a pebbled finish and nothing sticks to it. That is the same as the vision I have plants and stuff and wish a suction cup would stick (same for the vision)

I like it as much as the vision both have good things and both bad the build quality is great and dealing with Sylvain great he is a great guy and wants you to be happy after the purchase. I'd buy one again. I hope that helps. Sorry for the small hyjack...
