    Food hopper for rats
I created a question similar to this but for some reason it got deleted before i got to read any of yalls answers. Im wasting to much food on my food bowls, they keep getting pushed over or the bedding is put all over them. I seen that the hanging hoppers is whats recommended. Im using 1/2 hard ware cloth that i stapled to the lid. I also have the rats in heavy duty tubs (they cant chew through) For the hanging hopper. Are they actually able to pull the food out? Can someone give me instructions on how to build it? Or a link to a post that does? Ide prefer something that will hold the food like a bowl that i can just stick to the side of my tub and sauder holes so that i can take it in and out. Either way help is appreciated. :D

I use racks for most of my rats but I use these for my asf's and rats that I throw into a wire cage for holding over.
You don't have to hang it, just throw it into the corner and they eat right out of it...

The asf's tend to bury it but the rats don't, just toss it in the corner and refill it as needed.
