    Alright, my female ball will strike at her food, but will not lock and roll. I've stood here for nearly 20 minutes trying to get her to take her prey. Any advice on what I can/should do.

    She eats live. I even tried stunning the prey, but still nothing.

    Maybe entering shed? If she hasn't taken it by now and isn't behind on her feedings I would remove the rat and try again next week. It wouldn't hurt at all to miss one feeding and somethimes they can be stressed out for a variety of different reasons and be fine next week. Good luck!

    No, she eats like a champ. But today shes just striking at her prey.

    @ veg, yeah, her eyes are "fogged" over. My over one ate last week when going through a shed. Maybe you are right. I'll give it a go next week.

    im thinking she just striking at the some what forien item to warn it off b/c it feels thretend by it because its in shed.

    mine does the same when she doesn't want to eat. She will only attack but when kill or eat.
