    Pastel Male 6 Months
Recently purchased my 1st ball/royal python from a good quality breeder in the uk. I'm looking to buy a female ball/royal python soon so I need help choosing what morph/morphs would be the best to mate with my male pastel when they weigh enough and what morph would be the outcome...

Looking for the more rare morphs and nicest looking also I herd about cross breeding some species if some1 could help me out with some information on that

    Many thanks :)

Pastel Calico is one of my favorites..
As far as cross breeding I would learn all you can about your first ball python that you can, there is cross breeds but breeding a ball python to a ball python can be trick all in its self with out messing with major genetics platforms of cross breeding.

Not to mention the negative mutations Ive seen from cross breeding so take it one step at a time..

Trust me your first lesson will be that breeding isnt as easy as people think it is.... But good luck on your venture....

One more piece of advice "Take good care of your animals and they will take very good care of you when it comes to breeding and keeping them healthy"...

Thanks for in the information, yeah I have read into negative mutations don't seem to pretty. I think I'm going to stick with breeding the same species of snakes until I get more experience. Yeah I'm trying to keep him to the best health I can I done loads of research before I finally brought one probably 2-3 months and I got to say I think I'm addicted to snakes now and personally I haven't handled a huge number of snakes but ball/royal pythons seem really docile and relaxed I just give Him a rehydration bath because he seemed abit dehydrated i think the humidity was abit hight due to the weather lately its been very hot! but hes still feeding very well lol buy many thanks :)

I suggest you do some homework and find something that you like.... then work toward it, just because an animal is worth alot doesnt mean it is something that you like. I do not own any pieds, dont care to I dont like them but they are one of the steadiest animals in the market and people spend a decent amount on them but it isnt what I like. I hope you find a female that will work towards creating something that YOU LIKE
