Sounds like you have some research to do :) You can check out gecko forums too, geckoforums.net is pretty active. You should learn a lot there.

Hi there, sorry no one else got back to you I have been away for last week so wasn't able to post earlier..

As far as being a good 1st breeding attempt they are a pretty good choice. They usually lay 1-2 eggs at a time but can lay multiple clutches. A single fem can lay anywhere from 1 or 2 eggs to 10+ depending on age and weight of female.
Males should be older than 5 months and females older than 8 months, but like BP's weight is more of a consideration for females. Females should be at least 45 grams before breeding with a nice fat tail.. The forum miamiroyalpythons gave is a great one for gecko's also I would recommend picking up Ron Tremper's book The Herpetoculture of Leopard Gecko's as it is a great book for owner's and breeder's alike...

Hope this helps, any other questions feel free to ask.. :D

I would say breed it to a mack snow and any form of albino. The reason being mack snow is co dom so you have a good chance at getting some variety. If you breed it to an albino you can make hets and if you add some more in the future get the form of albino you made hets for.

I honestly didnt even try breeding my leos.
I just have a regular cage setup according to most caresheets on leos. And I introduced the male and female together and one day a few months later I noticed she was gravid.
So I guess I cant give you many pointers but I think the female should be at least 50g and a year old at the least. That sounds right to me. Good luck with your future breeding!
