    Racks for Boas?
I had a RTB for a long time which I kept in a large aquarium. I know have balls and i'm getting a boaphile rack for them this weekend locally. I'm curious - does anyone keep RTBs in racks?

Someone here wants me to rescue a 4 ft RTB - I'll have an open rack and i'm wondering if I could keep her in the rack comfortably (for now).

Boas need a little more room than BP's. While you can keep boas in tubs, a 4ft boa is going to need something larger than a 41 quart tub. At a minimum, you will need something with a floor space of about 3 ft X 18 inches. There are a couple of tubs that you can find at Wal-Mart or Target that are large enough, or you can order a VE-175 tub from ReptileTubs.com. The other options are to look at some of the glass tanks or PVC/Melamine type enclosures.
It's completely up to you what you decide to do, but I would strongly suggest NOT getting a boa and putting it in the same room as your BP's until you have quarantined it for 5 or 6 months to make sure it doesn't have any illness or diseases that can be transmitted to your BP's, which in some cases, can be fatal to BP's.
I have seen racks specifically designed for boas, and when I find the link, I'll post it.
