Why do people post with DUW in the title? Does anyone on the planet still have dialup?

In some places that or DSL are the only things available. Additionally, lost of people browse from phones, so it's useful to know if threads are picture-heavy when trying to moderate your usage or if you don't have a particularly good signal.
