    STILL not eating
So i posted a thread a couple of months ago about my 09 female spider not eating all of a sudden. Well the dillema continues, the last time she ate was December 22nd 2010. It is now April 21st 2011. Its been 4 months since her last meal that consisted of 4 adult mice. She doesnt seem to be sick that i can see. No bubbles in her mouth or weezing or star gazing that would indicate a UTI. She doesnt have Mites. She is active at night roaming all around her enclosure. My husbandry is up to par. And i have not noticed any significant weight loss. I mean of course she has lost some weight, but nothing that is very noticeable. As i stated in my last post she was eating very regularly, and quite eagerly, almost to the point of being a pig, and then suddenly, no interest whatsoever since her last meal. My question is, has anybody else had this problem?, and how long can i expect it to continue?,,,,,just kinda trippin, hope someone can help out.

I can only say to keep an eye on her weight.

She should start up again soon she was obviously well fed up to her little fast, I wouldn't worry too much about it I think she might be telling you that she is ready to breed.

How much does she weigh? She's probably just fasting for breeding season.

At what point would you consider weight loss significant? I have a few snakes that have not eaten now for the same amount of time as the OP and they are showing some weight loss ( less then 10% of their original weight) but show no signs of sickness and have even shed during their fasting. I should state that all are over 1 year of age and over 700 grams.
